Project Finish WIP diary, update
May. 22nd, 2012 08:48 amI was thinking about the reasons that cause me to drop a fic from 'actively writing' -status to WIP; there is some kind of shift in perception that happens every time.
When I think my WIP-file, thoughts like this pop up: there's no rush, don't know where to continue, don't remember what happens, I have no ideas.
The fics I actively work on inspire more positive connotations; can't wait to write more, I have ideas and plot bunnies, I see where this fic is headed.
Every WIP has once been in that 'actively writing' -state. So what changes? Why do I stop seeing the fic as a positive thing and turn to look at it as a dreaded chore?
There is 12 days left in the Project. During that, I'm going to try think WIP's in different manner: something I'm writing right now, I know where the story is headed, I have good ideas for it.
Accomplished: three WOD-rounds every day, +2000 words written
To improve: I've been more focused on my RBB-fic than IHA, the last fic left in the project.
Goal: Read through, going through the notebooks to find any workable tidbits, brainstorming for end ideas.
