The Purple Winner Bar!

Yay, got the 50K in time! :D

And let me tell you, the last half an hour was a goddamn battle! I went to a write-in meet, but we didn't get much written because we were so busy talking and drinking fancy coffee (it was great fun!) so I was still missing 1K two hours ago. I put on some fighting music and start getting those 10 minute bursts that seem to work well for me.

And I got the 1K, I cheer, I do the whole copy-paste thing (my NaNo story is in 20 pieces, I created a new file for every chapter - yeah, I realized that this made validation a pain in the ass) and the Nano word counter gives me 49 638 >.< GAAH!

Well fine, I'm not giving up! I do one more 10 minute thing to get that 362 words, except I didn't count that first, so I was just typing a chunk of words to a scene, add them and validate the whole thing again. Guess what I got? Yep: 49 999. GAAH! :D

I add one adverb after one 'said' (because hah! Why the hell not :D) and tadaa!! My first ever NaNo win! It came from the word 'quietly' :D :D

It's all fun and cheering now, but what on earth will I write tomorrow?!? o.O
