It's a Mystery
Jan. 24th, 2015 05:53 pmI've been watching crime shows lately, most notably 'Hinterland' and 'True Detective'. They both had the same sort of evocative camera work - same feel of silent, empty space. I also re-watched 'Bron', though it's different in second viewing because I know where the story is headed.
Maybe it's just a visual impact that can't be translated, but I would like to learn to evoke mood and tension with such small details like in those shows. Maybe it's a matter of focus, I don't know. Interesting anyway.
I think I'll rewatch 'Vera' next, I've always liked that leading character.
