Pondering about the root issue

I've been doing the 500/day pace for few days, and it's so weird how different the days are. Like, Sunday was 'oh, 500 already?' and today it's 'hours later it's 234, what?'.

I also realized that I have written all kinds of bits and pieces, but together they don't make one fic - I don't think they would make four or five fics either :D
It would be great if the bits went together like puzzle pieces, because I could have about 5K fic by now.

But for now, I'm just going to focus on this pace issue. I think the whole writer's block issue is rooted on the posting a finished fic - I don't want to post anything, because it makes me feel so stupid and anxious. I don't know why, I used to not care - just posting stuff and moving on to write a new one. That was fun! I would like to have that attitude back, but I'm not sure it's possible.

Well anyway, I better go squeeze that +200 words out so I can get today marked off!
