Dear Yuletide Writer,

Thank you for writing for me! I hope you have a great Yuletide, and I look forward reading your fic!
(And here is my entry at Yuleporn, if that's something that interests you)

Foyle's War
Characters: Christopher Foyle, Samantha Stewart, Paul Milner

I like their work dynamic, and friendship. It would be interesting to see them in more relaxed situation together, during a case or after a case. Also something where either Sam or Milner take charge of the situation could be interesting, or something where Foyle is shaken up or emotional somehow and needs his teams support.

I have seen the whole serie, but I only have the first two seasons on DVD so I know the beginning better than the end, in case you want to base your story on some particular episode. No need to, I'm more interested about what you come up with, than strict canon compliance. Think outside the box if you wish, Christopher & Sam or Sam & Milner romance? Why not! (heck, go for OTP3 if you like!)
I'm mostly interested about their group dynamic, so gen team fic works perfectly too, whatever interests you!

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Characters: Phryne Fisher, Jane, Dorothy 'Dot' Williams

Phryne is an independent and strong character, and I think it would be interesting to see her relying on those she usually protects and cares for. I think she had been more of a big sister to Jane during the series, it would be interesting to see if she had to take the role of a parent. With Dot, Phryne is the employee and a friend, but how does she need Dot, her sensibility and kindness? It could be a story about a case, or character study, or them three just having silly fun and talking, anything.

I haven't watched the second season yet, but I suspect by the time the Yuletide collection opens, I've seen all episodes - you can use particular episode or case if you like, but you don't have to if you rather write your own vision. I would like to see Phryne's softer side, however it manifests, or exploration of her relationships with Jane and Dot.

The Expendables
Characters: Barney Ross, Lee Christmas

In the movie I liked their friendship and trust to each other, combined with the constant bickering. Character study could be great, how they met, became friends, if their bromance (or actual romance if you like) had some rough patches. Or it could be interesting setting those two in a situation where they can't use violence/weaponry but have to talk their way out of it.

This is my favorite action movie, and I would love to have fic about it. The characterization isn't very deep in the movie, but that's why I have so many questions about those two characters. How they became friends, have they always bickered like an old couple, what else they like to do besides shoot the bad guys? I want to hear more about their relationship, however you see it - friends, team mates, older brother/younger brother, mentor/student, lovers, anything goes.

The Following
Characters: any

I left the character slot open, because I liked both the Cult characters and the law enforcement characters, plus there's the flashbacks to past – there could be an interesting story hidden there. I also liked all the scheming, backstabbing and plot twists in the show, those could be interesting to explore, or the normalcy that hides the madness.

In this show I really loved the basic concept most, the twists, turns and backstabbing in every five minutes, the cult mentality, all the characters pulling in different directions. Canon compliant story is great if you had one in mind, but no need to do that if you like to try an idea of your own. There's a lot of secrets and unknown in the show, I'm happy to read whatever aspect of it you want to explore.
