Let's go NaNo!

Yes, I'm going to try it again. Why not? I usually start strong, so in all likelihood I will end up with 5-10K before everything falls apart - that amount of words will push some stories toward the end!

I'm thinking I'll start with Yuletide fic because I'm excited about it, and move on to an original story if that story gets stuck. I've been on a project course for last two weeks, and we have discussed innovations - I think some of the techniques used for creating new ideas could work with creating plot ideas too. I mentioned NaNo at the coffee break discussion and got some odd looks for it, and questions like 'you are doing what now for fun?'
I keep forgetting that very few people around here actually know what NaNo is - I would be so happy if one day when I said 'NaNo' in the coffee table, someone goes 'I'm doing it too!'
