It's over!

Deep sigh of relief - the course is over! I got the course certificate, cake has been eaten and boring, meaningless small talk was had. Now it's just bit back and forth with the Unemployment Office, but I'm hoping they'll be content to let me manage on my own - I got the part-time job already, surely I've shown that I know what I'm doing (I don't have friggin' clue, but shhh, don't let the bureacrats know. They freak out if you don't say you have a solid plan).

So now I'm having the odd sense of unfounded freedom. I have shifts next week, but it's not the same as going to the store every weekday - I already feel like I don't know what's going on in there :( Did we get the extra shipment on Thursday? Whatever happened with the shoplifter report? Has it been busy, slow, what? Gaah! I need to know!

I suppose it's good to be invested in your job, but it's also rather strange feeling, after such a long stretch of unemployment. I have something to care! Woop! :D

Now, if I could direct that same care to my writing, that would be darn swell. Care about yourself, self, not only about some store...
